Meet Dr. Russ
Approach
Dr. Russ has an abundance mindset that is cultivated through gratitude, mindfulness and positive thinking. He understands how pivotal it is to bring your smile to life and wants to create a memorable experience while doing so. We are here to serve you and address your every concern as if it was our own.
Credentials
Dr. Russ is an area local and his family has resided at the beach for 30 years. He went to University of South Carolina for undergrad studies and Medical University of South Carolina for dental school. Continued his training for a one year residency at Baylor Hospital in Dallas. From there, he came back to the Myrtle Beach area to practice general dentistry before developing a resounding passion for orthodontics. This led him to NYC for training at Montefiore Medical Center on the Einstein campus known for its clinical reputation to receive his degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. The journey traversed into South Texas to practice Orthodontics impacting thousands of lives before making it back to the Carolina coast. He is excited to be back around friends and family and ready to carry forward his continued passion of handcrafting smiles.
Outside the Office
Dr. Russ played soccer most of his young life, plays guitar, golf, surfs, enjoys fishing, traveling, and being outdoors from the mountains to the beach relishing all of God's creations. He lives an active lifestyle and his enthusiasm for all sports is equally matched by his compassion for dogs and all animals.
